WELCOME TO
The Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center
Tennis and Education for Life
Founded in 1961 as the first African-American non-profit tennis club in the country, Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center builds leaders on the court, in the classroom and in the greater community by providing academic, wellness and social development programs alongside recreational and competitive tennis instruction for youth and adults. We are committed to improving life opportunities for youth in Boston's Blue Hill Corridor while welcoming a diverse community from the Greater Boston area.
Located on 4 acres adjacent to Harambee Park, we are the only non-profit tennis club in Boston with 7 indoor and 7 outdoor courts, a clubhouse with showers, classrooms and a technology center. We offer the lowest adult membership rate - just $200 annually - of any comparable tennis club in Boston, and we have free, off-street parking. We are also easily accessible by public transportation.
Whether you’re a skilled player ready to join a league, a recreational player looking for a fun way to burn calories and keep your heart strong, or a parent looking for a sport that builds character, agility, strength and composure, we have something for you.
